Angiomyolipoma of the Liver

Angiomyolipoma is a very rare hepatic benign tumor, containing blood vessels, fat and smooth muscle cells. This patient has been followed for about 10 years, and the ultrasound appearance of the tumor has been quite unchanged during this time.

A CT-picture of this histologically verified angiomyolipoma. The tumor has not caused any symtoms.
