Primary lymphomas in the colon These tumours are quite rare, below 1% of all malignancies in the colon are lymphomas. Intestinal bleeding, anaemia and altered bowel function, constipation are the main symptoms - but the symptoms are nonspecific. Colonoscopy is the main diagnostic procedure when this disease is suspected. The treatment is most often a combination of surgery, radiation therapy and chemotherapy.
