Gastric diverticulum is in innocent and rare finding. The diverticula are ususally located in the gastric fundus region a few centimeters from the oesophago-gastric junction and have a diameter of 2 to 4 centimeters. These diverticula are probably congenital, they do not cause any symptoms and no treatment is usually needed.
