Proctitis Ulcerosa
Ulcerative proctitis, or proctitis ulcerosa, is the same disease as ulcerative colitis, affecting only the rectum.

Proctitis Ulcerosa
It may be as difficult to treat as ulcerative colitis, however it does not usually affect the general well being of the patient. This is a typical finding in a quite mild ulcerative proctitis
Proctitis Ulcerosa
The borden between inflamed and normal mucosa is usually sharp. The disease is treated with the same type of medication as ulcerative colitis but local treatment is often sufficient.
Procitis Ulcerosa
The proctitis can be very severe and socially disabling, although it affects only the rectum or a part of the rectum
