Oesopageal Web
As a result of longstanding reflux disease, the patient can get a short web-like stenosis in the distal oesophagus, at the junction of oesophageal and gastric mucosa. The differentiation between a web caused by chronic reflux disease and a congenital Schatzki´s ring is sometimes difficult.
