This is a very easy question, but the pictures are nice, and we like to use them in this quiz. This young man was examined because of stomach pain and hypersedimentation. This is the finding in the terminal ileum. What disease does he have?
Answer
This is a typical Crohn´s disease in the typical localization, in the distal ileum terminale. The patient went on fine on 5-ASA and has not yet needed any surgical treatment.
