Flexura Lienalis (Splenic Flexure)

It is often difficult to know, exactly where the tip of the colonoscope is during a colonoscopy. There are however some landmarks. Often the spleen is seen through the colon wall, as in this picture, and then one knows that the location is sthe spenic flexure, flexura lienalis.
