8th International Workshop on HIV and Hepatitis Co-Infection 43rd Nordic Gastroenterology Congress

    General information: "It seems that the next meeting here in Iceland will be the last
      Nordic Meeting of Gastroenterology of this kind. The practice of our discipline Gastroenterology has undergone a revolution through many steps since the first meeting was held in the late 60-ies.
      We will therefore have particular focus on historical aspects of Gastroenterology in the Nordic countries and of course what we think will be the most important challenges that our discipline will meet in future. Thus, the motto of the meeting will be “the past and future challenges of Gastroenterology in the Nordic countries.”
      We aim to focus on recent up-date on scientific achievements in the field. We will also focus on the clinical education in gastroenterology and Hepatology with an ambitious postgraduate course and the NGC 2012 will be able to provide Continuous Medical Education (CME) credits. During the postgraduate course live endoscopy will be presented. Invited speakers will come from Nordic countries and also from other parts of the world. We aim to attract attendees from both the Nordic countries and from all around the world."
