General information: "On behalf of the Egyptian members of the Asian Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver (APASL), it is our pleasure to invite you to join us at the 3rd single topic conference of APASL which will be held in Cairo, Egypt, January 30- February 1st, 2008. APASL is currently one of the most rapidly growing associations of clinicians and researchers involved in the fight against liver diseases. More than 3800 participants had shared in the very successful last annual meeting held in Kyoto, Japan, March, 2007.For long time, Egypt has been mis-recognized as a pure African country. This is not true, we are Afro-Asians as we have a large part of our country being as part of Asia. It involves the whole area of Sinai which is present to the east of the red sea.
